Day 1: Marmaris
Embarkation begins after 3:30pm when you will be introduced to your Captain and crew. Over a welcome drink you will be briefed as to the safety regulations onboard and all aspects of your cruise. We spend the night moored in the harbour, giving you the opportunity to explore the town.*
Day 2: Arab Island – Bozukkale
After breakfast we sail to Arap Adasi, Arab Island. After a pre lunch swim the gullet sails on to Bozukkale Bay. The bay lends its name to the ruinous castle walls, the “crooked castle,” ”bozukkale”. Between 167BC and the 2ndC AD it was an important port of Rhodian Peraia, the mainland possessions of Rhodes, which is visible some 30km away
Day 3: Datca
After breakfast, we sail around the cape and cross the gulf to Datca, the largest town on the Datca, Resadiye, peninsula. As the gulet docks in Datca harbour to take on fresh supplies you may wish to explore the charming town which was founded by the Dorians who came across the Aegean Sea to the southern coast of Ionia in the 7th century B.C. Named as Cnidus, Knidos, it was moved to the tip of the peninsula. Today the ancient ruins of the city are being excavated. Datca was refounded in modern times around todays harbour. There is an optional tour** to Cnidus the ancient city, and the home of the Aphrodite cult. We remain in Datca overnight*
Day 4: Aktur-Bencik
After breakfast the yacht moves on to Aktur and Bencik Bay, a very narrow bay with unique scenery. The Persians led by General Harpagos, came to conquer Datca Peninsula in 550 B.C. The Cnidus people wanted to link both gulfs by digging a channel between to make one easily defensible island but they could not complete the work in time and the city was overcome by the Persians. We anchor overnight in Bencik bay

In the bay is a unique natural phenomenon called “kiz mumu,” “Girl's Candle, a reddish sandy path stretching from the shore into the sea. In the bay there is a small island where you can explore the ruins of an antique fortress.
Day 6 : Dirsekbuku-Bozburun
We will sail onto Dirsekbuku after breakfast. After a short stop we continue onto Bozburun, a popular and charming small fishing village. This once isolated port was known for its sponge-divers early in the 20th century. That hard life was abandoned when disease struck the sponge beds, sponges are a form of algae, and stocks declined. Nowadays the townspeople have replaced their old livelihood with building and sailing gulets.
